in 1653 Oliver Cromwell stormed into the House of Commons and evicted the rump paliament with the following speech. He was dismayed at their conduct; Taking bribes, immoral principles and abusing the trust given to them by the people. Likewise, in 2009, the electorate are dismayed at British Members of parliament and their abuses of trust. many of them have resigned, some may face prosecution over expenses scandals. Oliver Cromwell's speech is re-created for this set of postcards.
